Royalty rollin' on Abbot Kinney this First Friday!

We're welcoming the Prince of Venice food truck to the boulevard this month. (One of the owners is actually a Prince...)

Their Italian dishes include gourmet, fresh pasta prepared from authentic recipes using high-quality ingredients. Owner Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia explains, "The concept is to make a variety of fresh pasta in front of the clients and to serve it with incredible handmade sauces."

Prince of Venice sources most ingredients from local Southern California farms, focusing on organic produce, cage-free eggs and free-range meat. Some items, like flour, olive oil and truffles, they import from Italy.

The menu rotates based on what fresh and seasonal items are available.

And, of course, delicious handmade Italian desserts of tiramisù, panna cotta and cannoli. Get one to take home for breakfast tomorrow. :)

You can read more about Filiberto, whose vestigial royal title is Prince of Piedmont and Venice, and his food truck in this L.A. Times article.
