April First Friday
/Fusion First Friday
It's a fusion First Friday on Abbot Kinney — the weather and the food. As the weather decides if it's spring or winter, the food on the Blvd this month most definitely knows how to please. Along with many of your long-time favorites, we have a few newcomers to welcome, including the innovative food fusions of Epikurean and Mad Dumplings.
Epikurean combines American, French and Mexican cuisine to create a unique menu that includes crepes, burritos, tacos, wraps, salads, burgers and one of our personal faves, the Croque Monsieur.
For a mash-up of international foods all cleverly put into a dumpling, check out Mad Dumplings. They combine the most interesting flavors from around the world and elegantly stuff them into a traditional Asian dumpling.
Our third new truck this month — not a fusion but a delectable mingling of foods and spices — is Creole City serving comfort food from the heart. And from the heart of New Orleans. Some of the finest and authentic Creole cooking in LA, Creole City combines the best herbs and spices with that special touch of tomato, bell pepper, celery and onions cooked in a roux, with your choice of andouille sausage, seafood or chicken.
So, whether you want to try a new fusion of food or return to your tried-and-true, bring your appetite to First Friday and we'll see on the Blvd!
