The Butcher's Daughter Juice Bar and Cafe

The Butcher’s Daughter is a plant-based restaurant, cafe, juice bar and “vegetable slaughterhouse." They treat fruits and vegetables as a butcher would meat: They chop, fillet and carve fresh produce into healthy vegetarian dishes and press them into pretty juices.

The daily changing menu is mostly vegan and gluten-free, and 100% vegetarian. Their “eat with the season" menu brings new produce highlighted in special dishes, juices and cocktails prepared at the restaurant.

The Butcher’s Daughter is committed to buying produce from local and organic farms - the fruits and veggies taste better and it also supports our community’s sustainability.

Find them on the Blvd for breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.
Open daily 8am-10pm.

The Butcher’s Daughter was envisioned and created by founder Heather Tierney. Heather has always had a passion for healthy food and juice, and especially loves wandering through local vegetable and fruit markets. She got inspired to start juicing after coming up with ideas for exotic cocktails for Apothéke, her cocktail bar in New York’s Chinatown. When she opened her first location in NYC, she knew the menu had to have one staple item: The best avocado toast in the city.

Heather is also the creative force behind the design for The Butcher’s Daughter restaurant, a pretty, refreshing take on an old-world butcher shop. Heather loves the dichotomy of using industrial elements (concrete floors, steel metal hooks, heavy iron butcher rails) against softer, earthy materials like beached raw wood, white brick and greenery growing out of an old chicken coop.

Both the food and the design are not to be missed the next time you're on the Blvd.
