September First Friday

Start off Labor Day Weekend with Flavor

Labor Day honors the workers of America and their contributions to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of the country. Let's especially celebrate the creative chefs and devoted food-workers for their contributions to the pleasure and delight of our foodie nation!

We have another outstanding lineup of food trucks to choose from this month. A lineup that includes five out of the ten on Discover L.A.'s list of the top food trucks in L.A. right now! Those recommended five, all veterans of Abbot Kinney First Friday, are Crispy Cuban, NoMad, The Prince of Venice, Sanook Soi 38 and Zema. Read about them — and the other five, most of which are also Abbot Kinney regulars — on the Discover Los Angeles website.

This month we're welcoming a few newcomers to the Blvd including A Beautiful Life, Chunk n Chip, Go Beyond the Bowl, Pink Taco, Rad Coffee, Spoon and Pork (points for the cute name alone), and Stop Bye Cafe.

Top Trucks, New Tastes, Labor Day, End of Summer, Heat Wave, Thunder Storm... Here's a selection of fare suited to the weekend. Enjoy!
